Fulbright Specialist

In 2023, Dr. Lauren Walsh was named a Fulbright Specialist in Photography and Ethics. She becomes part of a unique cohort of global experts who bring their specialties to countries around the world.

Walsh’s first trip with this title was to Dhaka, Bangladesh, where she worked with local journalists and newsrooms, as well as universities, focusing on best ethical practices and safety initiatives. She was based at the Pashthala South Asian Media Institute.
